The company was founded in 1919 in Michigan (USA) by Leroy Vickers and was engaged in the production of parts for automobiles and military equipment. 

After the First World War, Vickers Engineering Company actively developed technologies for military and civilian applications.

In 1999, Vickers was acquired by Eaton Corporation, which also specializes in the production of hydraulic systems and components. 

This merger allowed Eaton to significantly strengthen its position in the hydraulic market and significantly expand its product range,
Thus, Vickers has taken an honorable place in the hydraulic industry, although it is part of Eaton, which is still engaged in improving hydraulic systems and their components, relying on Vickers' many years of experience.
